Crafted Websites and Graphics that Leave a Lasting Impression
About me
I am 17 years old and I live in Toronto, Canada. I have been interested in coding since the beginning of high school. I have taken a number of courses on udemy.com to learn my skills. To learn HTML and CSS, I took Jonas Schmedtmann's "Build Responsive Real-World Websites using HTML and CSS." To learn JavaScript, I took Jonas Schmedtmann's "The Complete JavaScript Course." To learn Python, I took Dr. Angela Yu's "100 Days of Code" Python course. To practice what I have learned, I have built a number of real world projects that showcase what I've learned.
Websites I built from scratch using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
My brother loves chess. For his birthday last year, I thought it would be nice to make a responsive chess website as his card. Although the project proved to be much more challenging than anticipated, I was able to complete the project in the end and put a smile on his face.
Sorting Algorithms are complicated. Quite frankly, a person like myself (who didn't even know what a sorting algorithm was before building the project) would very likely find learning some of these algorithms daunting and overwhelming. To tackle the challenge of learning these algorithms, I decided to build a website that would not only teach me these algorithms, but also demonstrate for others (and myself) how they are implemented in practice. (It's also really satisfying and calming to watch 😀)

A fun desktop website that showcases the fun code breaking game "Mastermind." The user has ten guesses to guess a code of 4 colors. My family has made fun of me countless times that I, the creator of the website, have so much trouble beating the game 😅

Why do the math yourself when you can get the computer to do it for you? I just built a website for it. The real hero is the computer. Project idea I got from frontendmentor.com

Ever been at a restaurant with friends and had to split the bill? Ever had to give a tip and not know what the bill will come up to? Well this project might just be able to help you with that! Idea for the project came from frontendmentor.com.
You may be able to say how old you are in years, but unless it's your birthday, you probably don't know how old you are in days and hours - if you ever wanted to find that out, this project can help you! Idea for the project came from frontendmentor.com.
Fun snake game I built using Python (get it 😂), as a capstone project to Dr. Angela Yu's 100 Days of Code course on Udemy. Try to eat as many food particles as you can (the snake gets bigger each time) without collapsing into the wall!
Fun 2-player Pong game I built using Python. This was another project for Dr. Angela Yu's 100 Days of Code course. Your goal is to hit the ball with your paddle into your opponents zone with your paddle. Ball bounces off of walls.
This is an app that can store and save passwords locally onto your computer. You can also use this to find passwords you previously saved. If you're someone that has a hard time remembering passwords, this app may be able to help!
Ever wanted to test your trivia knowledge? This app is for you! Quizler will fetch 10 randomly generated trivia questions from an API and ask them to you. Click the check if you think the answer is true and "X" if it's false. Try to get as many as you can!
